This is a fantastic way to get from Tallinn to Riga. There is plenty to see on the way; all the stops are interesting. Kristel made the journey fun - she encouraged us all to have a try on an Estonian swing which was great fun. It was a hot day - water was provided and we had plenty of time to stroll around each place of interest. We liked the small group size. I can recommend Kristel - she was very knowledgable and a great guide.
"Coastal Cliffs tour - great for teens!"
We chose Coastal Cliffs and Soviet Paldiski as we thought our teenage boys would find this the most interesting tour and it would give us all an insight into the history of Estonia.
Kristel, our lovely guide, was fantastic! She drove us safely round a wide range of sights and was a mine of information. As expected, our boys found the prison quarry, bunkers, lighthouse, cargo plane and history of Paldiski very interesting. The tour had frequent stops - none of the sections of driving were more than about 20 minutes.
Overall, a great day out - and perfect way to avoid the crowds in Tallin on the busiest day for cruise ships in the summer! We arrived back in the town centre late afternoon, just as the tourists were heading off - giving us a lovely quiet evening to explore the old town.
"The perfect way to travel! "
Had a lovely transport and sightseeing tour with Kristel from Riga and to Tallinn. She was very knowledgeable, kind and solution oriented, when we were once again struck by the on-and-off showers from above. We saw some great attractions, learned a lot about Estonia and Latvia, and the almost 12 hours just flew by. Great way to get from Tallin to Riga while seeing something along the way - we especially loved travelling on the small roads and watching the fields and countryside.
"Wonderful sites "
The Lahemma tour was surprising for the range of activities—waterfall, manors, seaside, bog hike. Our guide Kristel was lovely and informative. I only wish the “tipping” option was made clearer. While this was a relatively expensive 1 day tour, we weren’t sure how much of that the guides actually take home.

Great tour. A really nice way to get between Estonia and Latvia. The tour guide deserves a special shoutout for adding a lot of character and history to all of our stops. I would highly recommend it!
"Nice way to make the transfer between Tallinn and Riga"
It's absolutely a fun way to make the trip between Tallinn and Riga! We had a nice guide which told us a lot about the countries and their history.
"Road to Riga what a Rippa!"
What a great little tour, organised by a lovely professional company. We travelled on the Tallinn to Riga Day Tour and had the amazing Kristel as our guide. It was a small group tour of 8 people which was awesome. Although the distance travelled was a long way (12 hours) we were able to see the countrysides of Estonia & Latvia a long the way with great stops on route to give you a great taste of this amazing area. Kristel's knowledge was as good as her friendly nature and she was only to happy to answer any questions you had. The lunch stop was delicious and reasonably priced. Bonus that you fitted in our luggage as we were travelling one way. Thank you again for a great day and great service.

"Great Tour"
We did two tours with Tallinn Traveller Tours: the one to Lahemaa National Parc and the Tallinn-Riga-Tour. We enjoyed both tours very much. Our guides Alfred and Krsstel were very nice and knowledgable, and the stops are a great combination between nature and culural sightseeing. It's a quite relaxed way to see a bit of the country since someone else is doing the driving and planning. We would definetly recommend both tours.
"Brilliant sights, great guide, wonderful day"
This was a highlight of our trip. Kristel was fantastic, & extremely knowledgeable. Pleasant company on the tour, great lunch & seeing some excellent sites (13th century castles, military museum, baltic countryside, etc.) worked a treat for us.
"Tallin Tours do care"
Whether due to demand or breakdown it was necessary for Tallinn Tours to hire a vehicle. At an early stop we mentioned the smell of fuel fumes within the vehicle. Our guide agreed and promptly organised a vehicle swap at our next stop. Later I misplaced my reading glasses and our guide was prepared to make phone calls and arrangements for collection when found. It seems to me when all is going well people are not really tested but the response of Tallinn Tours when matters were not going according to script was impressive. Great personal skills from our tour guide on all fronts.
"Great Tour"
A great day excursion with a number of diverse locations within the National Park, a great way to see the rural side of Estonia away from the city. The bog walk was especially memorable, although insect repellent is a good idea as there are mosquitoes in the warm weather!

"THIS is the tour/SHE is the guide"
The tour from Tallinn to Riga was very well conceived. It covered many miles yet had frequent stops of historical-cultural significance to break up the distances covered. Why not just hop on the bus? Because you would not see the bee caves. You would not learn about Nazi and then Soviet occupations and atrocities. You would not share a lovely lunch with Kristel, the guide from heaven. She drives the van very safely, she understands her subject, and she intuitively knows her clientele. What a marvelous eye-opening way to learn about Estonian and Latvian history and culture. Okay, I got the tour; I got the experience AND still I would go again. Please don’t miss this opportunity. We are from Santa Cruz, California and are not impressed easily. This one nailed us.
"See The Countryside"
The sightseeing tour bus from Tallinn to Riga was very enjoyable and allowed us the chance to see more of Estonia and Latvia than just emerging in the big cities. It also allowed us the chance to spend a day with a very good guide, Kristel, and ask questions while enjoying the views and sights. My wife and I would definitely do this again.
"A Cool Way To See Rural Estonia & Latvia"
I really enjoyed the day trip from Tallinn to Riga. There was a lot of driving involved but it was a lot preferable to getting a flight. Really enjoyed the hike through the National Park and being able to walk down the bobsleigh track!

Kristal discussed not just Estonian history but offered a lot of modern cultural and political information that we and our fellow travelers requested. We feel lucky that we got her. She said our hotel was en route so dropped us at the door before proceeding to old town with the other passengers. Thanks Kristal!

"Great way to see Estonia"
Our trip outside Tallinn to the countryside of Estonia was time well spent. The tour took us to various sights in the national park but the best part was the walk through the bogs....truly worth the entire trip. Our tour guide was adequate. Answered all our questions but could have been more informative. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Estonia outside the Tallinn city limits.
