"Fantastic day tour"
I wish there were more tours like this, that take you from one beautiful place to another and show you so much on the way! Our guide Gregor was brilliant, he had an answer to every question and have lots of insights into Estonian culture. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see behind the mask of the capitals and see real Latvia and Estonia..

"Fantastic trip to Lahemaa National Park with excellent guide "
A really great day trip from Tallinn. A must see for anybody in Estonia for a few days. The Viru bog is beautiful, make sure to bring swimming attire for the chance to swim in a bog pond, truly memorable. Our guide Gregor was fantastic and really informative and passionate about showing Estonia, he answered all my questions.
"Wonderful tour."
It's a long day and only stop once for food/drink. So I recommend bring snack and water with you. Great day.
"Highly recommend "
Super friendly and knowledgeable tour guide and great destinations that highlight the natural beauty of Estonia and Latvia. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone in the area.
"'Estonishing' Tour! From Tallinn to Riga"
My wife and I took the full day Van tour from Tallinn to Riga and it was awesome!! Gregor is to be commended - he was so friendly and knowledgeable! He knew so much history and gave us a wonderful insight into Estonian culture and mannerisms. He really is outstanding as a tour guide!
We enjoyed the multiple stops and found that we never felt we were in the car for too long - the place we stopped for lunch was delicious!! And the hunting trophy collection inside the restaurant/hotel was very cool - like a museum really. Another notable stop was Sigulda to see the bobsleigh track - awesome views of the valley from the top!
The van was comfy and we were even provided complimentary bottled water - all around an excellent experience.
"Enjoyable trip with a great guide"
The 3 of us really enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Gregor, was really funny and told us lots of interesting stories about the history of Estonia and the places we visited. Would highly recommend this tour. Thanks!
"I’m Tallinn ya it’s great!! "
Great to explore other parts of these countries aside from the capital cities. Our guide was very knowledge and gave a great insight into the history of both countries. He was really enthusiastic and was very helpful. Really enjoyed our trip, Thank you Fred/Frank 😃
"Cliff edge insights into recent and ancient pasts"
A perfect day seeing far more than just Paldiski. Gregor took us to view cliffs so we begin with geology, and that led on to the waterfalls at a Manor House which was the place to briefly relate the history of the Estonians from pagan resisters to the present day. Greg is a proper historian who delivers his subject lightly and well. Then we turned up at a former Soviet missile base just as a rocket was prepared for launching on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11. On to some lighthouses, compounds of cars destined for Russia, and a nice pub lunch. Highlight was the amazing submerged prison quarry ( as seen on Abandoned Engineering TV prog) and lastly we boarded an Antonov Soviet plane. The guiding was just right, not too didactic. And we covered ground to see what we would have trouble finding without Greg. Thank you for a superb day!

"Great way to get to Riga"
We had Gregor as our guide and he was fantastic. Gave us lots of information about each of the places (with an Estonian slant!) and made sure everyone was happy and comfortable. The places we visited were interesting and we wouldn't have seen or found out about them if we just got on a plane to Riga so well worth doing!
"The Perfect Transfer Tour!"
This was a great way to get from Tallinn to Riga. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. The best way to see these sights along the way! I think the only stop that could have been skipped is the Military museum. More time in Cesis would have been better. Otherwise a great transfer tour!!
"Worth the detour! "
Decided to go for this tour instead of a direct non-stop bus to Riga to check out some smaller towns, which truly I wouldn’t have gone on my own. Gregor was really into the history and was a great guide for us. I think it really helps when the guides have passion for their job. Helps us enjoy too! Some might find this tour a little too long, but the stops are well-planned out and with good toilet breaks as well.
"Enriching"
Just like it!
"Travel with a local touch"
Excellent knowledgeable guide. Comfortable van. Enjoyable sights.
"Could not have been better!"
Gregor was such a nice driver, guide and friend! He made the trip unique and was really helpful and flexible, when things didn't work as planned!
Great job, good luck for your future! - The 4 German guys ;-)
"Highly recommend "
Great guide and went to places we otherwise wouldn't know about or thought of visiting. The bobsleigh track was super cool.
"Amaizing idea!!!! "
We had a great time and very interesting history from Gregor the whole trip!!!!
It could have been a boring 5-6 hour bus trip and ended being an incredible interesting nature rich journey!!!!
I traveled with my 9 year old son who had a blast!
Thank you so much!!!!!
"Riga to Tallinn and a whole lot more in between"
Taking this tour was the best way for me to get from Riga to Tallinn. Besides actually getting to my destination I was able to stop at so many more places that I would not have seen otherwise. The short stop at the bobsleigh track was fun and interesting and the visit to the town of Cēsis was a great opportunity to walk around a bit in this charming town. The visit to the Gauja National Park was a major highlight - we had a good walk and were able to appreciate Latvia's natural beauty. After lunch in Valga our last stop was in picturesque Viljandi where we had the opportunity to try out the very Estonian sport of kiiking (team swinging on a giant wooden swing) - exhilarating to say the least! We were in the very capable hands of Gregor, our guide/driver for the day - nothing was too much trouble for him and he was willing to answer questions at any stage and not just stick to a planned script. Gregor certainly went a long way to making it an unforgettable day - a huge thank you to him and to Traveller Tours.
